The Collision Industry’s Red Carpet Awards Night, held during the SEMA SHOW 2024, honored outstanding achievements across multiple categories, celebrating individual excellence, company innovation, and lifelong contributions. The awards spanned accolades for business executives, community service, educational contributions, technical skills, and industry leadership. Recognizing individuals and organizations that elevate industry standards, these awards spotlighted those who have gone above and beyond in their roles to drive progress, support education, and inspire peers.
The awards highlighted notable winners in different categories:
✅ Business Executive of the Year was awarded to Barry Dorn from Dorn’s Body & Paint Inc. (single location) and Wendy Patrick from Joe Hudson’s Collision Center (multi-location).
✅ Outstanding Contribution went to Chris Martinez from Nexsyis Collision and Gaurav (Rav) Mendiratta from Propel, both recognized for their efforts in digital and AI solutions.
✅ The Volunteer of the Year award was received by Aaron Schulenburg of the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS), and Janet Chaney was inducted into the prestigious Hall of Eagles.
✅ Jarod Nicholson from Collision Leaders and Jerry’s Body Shop received I-CAR awards for their long-standing commitment to training and safety.
In a final note of gratitude, the industry celebrated Mike Anderson of COLLISION ADVICE with the 2024 March Taylor Kina’Ole Award for his relentless advocacy for best practices and vehicle safety.
