Empire Auto Parts, a prominent distributor of aftermarket collision repair parts, has recently unveiled the Empire Auto Parts Scholarship Fund. This initiative aims to support students enrolled in post-secondary school collision repair programs within underserved communities in Empire’s geographic market. In a bid to celebrate Black History Month, Empire Auto Parts has partnered with the TechForce Foundation to administer the scholarships. This move comes at a critical juncture for the collision repair industry, which has been grappling with a shortage of technicians in recent years, impacting various sectors reliant on its services. Through this scholarship fund, Empire Auto Parts seeks to contribute to closing the resource gap by providing talented students with the necessary resources to pursue their passion in this evolving and technology-driven field.
Christopher Siebert, the CEO of Empire Auto Parts, expressed pride in collaborating with market leaders to empower students and cultivate future industry leaders. The Empire Auto Parts Scholarship Fund will annually award two scholarships worth $2,000 each, aiding promising individuals in their educational pursuits. Alongside other scholarships administered by the TechForce Foundation, a total of $4 million will be disbursed in scholarships in 2024. This endeavor underscores Empire Auto Parts’ commitment to fostering talent and addressing the workforce challenges faced by the collision repair industry, paving the way for a more robust and inclusive future.
