GM joins Tesla Supercharger Network, expands plans with EVgo to offer more coast-to-coast charging

General Motors has announced that its customers can now access over 17,800 Tesla Superchargers using GM-approved NACS DC adapters. This expansion significantly increases the number of publicly available charging stations for GM EV owners, making it easier for them to charge their vehicles. GM plans to expand its charging network further by collaborating with various charging providers and investing in infrastructure development. This will give customers more charging options, especially in areas with high traffic and limited charging infrastructure.

GM-approved NACS DC adapters will be available in the U.S. and Canada later this year. Customers can buy these adapters through their GM vehicle brand mobile apps for $225 and use them to locate, initiate, and pay for charging sessions at Tesla Superchargers.
