The Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC) announced that nine companies have agreed to follow the Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standard (AGRSS) for their ADAS calibration equipment. This means that if used correctly, these tools will calibrate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) according to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications. The AGSC hopes that all ADAS calibration equipment distributors will follow suit.
This is important because it assures AGSC member companies that these calibration tools are safe and effective. According to the chair of the AGSC ADAS committee, these companies are showing their commitment to safety in the auto glass industry.
